Account data: email address and name (optional). Passwords are encrypted and stored by Clerk — FormatLab never has access to them.
Usage data: number of sessions and iterations per month, subscription status and time of last activity.
Payment data: all payments are processed via Stripe. FormatLab does not store any payment card details.
Session content: texts and analyses you enter or generate. This content is only visible to you.
Technical data: anonymous page visits via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no personal data).

SCCs = Standard Contractual Clauses (EU-approved transfer safeguards). We never sell your data to third parties.
Texts you enter in FormatLab are processed via the Anthropic API. Anthropic never uses API input for training AI models. Data is automatically deleted by Anthropic after 30 days.
Sessions you save are stored in a secure database (Supabase, EU Frankfurt). This content is only accessible to you and is never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Requests can be submitted to info@formatlab.ai. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
